Investigations ongoing after police find cannabis factory in March with around 1,000 plants

A strong smell of cannabis, the sound of fans, and false walls were all the signs of a drug factory.

Officers spotted the signs of the illegal factory at two houses on The Parks in March on Wednesday afternoon.

Around 1,000 cannabis plants were found across the two properties, and the electricity was found to have been bypassed, putting the surrounding houses at risk.

No arrests have been made yet, but investigations are ongoing.
