It’s time to get those extra tickets for the Fenland Citizen Business Awards gala night
With the Fenland Citizen Business Awards evening fast approaching it’s time to think about those extra tickets you might want for staff, family, and friends for our gala night.
Judging is now all but complete, many of the winners will have been decided – and it’s fair to say it has not been an easy task for our judging panel.
They are Margo Hughes and Ian Smith from category sponsors Goldstar Metal Traders who have been busily judging Best New Start Up.
Yvonne Ogden of Clarion Futures, sponsor of Best Social Enterprise, has been looking at those nominated in this category.
The job of choosing the Business of the Year falls on the shoulders of Ben Beech of our headline sponsor Whitings LLP, with the firm also choosing the prestigious Judge’s Award.
Helen Peak of Mapus Smith and Lemmon is the judge for the Businessperson of the Year – with her firm as the category sponsor.
Iain Kirkbright of Chaos, and Sunlounger Travel, is judging the Customer Care category.
Employer of the Year will be judged by Wendy Smith of sponsors Nestle Purina, who are also sponsoring Business Innovation, which again Wendy will be judging.
Fraser Dawbarns are sponsoring Agriculture and Environment Champion and their Daniel Ball is judging the category.
Retail and Hospitality Champion falls to Jo Kupyn and Jim Waller of sponsors Fenmarc to judge.
And finally, Charlotte Horrobin of Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce is the judge for the Team of the Year Award.
The awards are being brought to you by Iliffe Media, publishers of the Fenland Citizen, and this the awards’ third year.
Each finalist has been given two free tickets per business for the gala awards night, on Friday, March 14 at the Braza Club in Elm Road, March, which includes a Champagne and canape reception, followed by a three-course dinner.
Ticket prices include the Champagne reception, the gala meal, table wine and of course the opportunity to see the presentation of the awards.
Extra tickets are available via the Fenland Citizen Business Awards website priced at £75 plus VAT per person.
The evening kicks off from 6.30pm with the Champagne reception. Dinner will be served from 7pm and then the awards for the 10 categories plus the Judge’s Award will be announced from 9pm onwards.
Iliffe Media are thrilled to be bringing you these prestigious awards for a third year running and cannot wait to celebrate some amazing firms.
