Wisbech Park Santa Run next month
Three Counties Running Club (TCRC) and Active Fenland are coming together again for the Santa Run in Wisbech Park next month.
TCRC are a running club based in Wisbech and Leverington who hold sessions throughout the week for beginners and intermediates and welcome anyone to come along and join their club.
The Santa Run has been going for four years now, with other events taking place in Easter and in the summer holidays, too.
The Santa Run is a great way to get into the festive spirit – with food, drink and entertainment available, there is something for everyone.
The event opens at 10am when you can also register to run, if you haven’t already done so on the Eventbrite website/app – just search for TCRC Santa Run.
This is followed by a fun warm-up at 10.45am, the 1km fun run starts at 11am and the 5km run starts at 11.30am, with the event closing at 1pm – meaning you have plenty of time to cheer everyone on, run and tuck into a cheeky mince pie!
We’re encouraging you all to come along in your best Christmas outfit this year, covered in all the tinsel and baubles you can get your hands on.
And don’t forget, you don’t have to run at super speed around the course (unless you really want to!) – both run distances are open to all abilities and it’s also possible to walk the 5km route, too.
This year’s Santa Run event is on Sunday, December 15, from 10am-1pm at Wisbech Park and is set to be a festive filled day with plenty of Christmas songs to get you in the mood!
To get tickets, just visit the Eventbrite site and search for TCRC Santa Run – it’s £2 for the 1km and £5 for the 5Km run, which includes a medal once you’ve completed your run. Both runs are timed!
You can buy tickets on the day, however we can’t guarantee a number or a medal if you do so, so it’s best to book online!
Please bring your electronic ticket with you to registration that morning.
If you would like more details, please email email@example.com
We hope to see you there!
