Join Wisbech Community Farm for either Christmas craft workshops or woodworking sessions
A community farm is holding workshops where people can get hands-on and creative.
Wisbech Community Farm is holding a series of Christmas craft workshops as well as woodworking sessions.
People can join the team at the farm for 12 weeks of festive crafting workshops, starting from November 6 and then every Wednesday after that from 1pm-2.30pm.
People will be able to get creative and make beautiful Christmas crafts as they prepare for the holiday season together.
The sessions are free and you will be able to enjoy a cuppa and cake.
Would you like to develop or refresh your woodworking skills?
Go along and be part of the team helping the farm to construct their Heritage Barn starting on November 6 from 10am-2pm and then every Wednesday after that.
You will also have the opportunity to gain an ASDAN Award in Heritage Wood-Working.
Over a 16-week period, you will help them to construct their Heritage Barn.
Using green woodworking and heritage techniques, you will help them install their barn walls and roof and complete the interior finish.
This course will also provide the opportunity to gain your CSCS card as they partner with Clarion Futures.
The FACT Bus picks up and drops off from The Horse Fair and Oasis Centre in Wisbech.
