Keep eyes peeled for cadet's stolen bike plea to Wisbech residents

A youth organisation is asking people to keep their eyes peeled after a cycle belonging to one of its members was stolen and are also looking at improved security.

The Wisbech 272 Squadron Air Cadets posted on social media following the theft of a Voodoo Marasa 18 inch framed cycle with camouflage pattern in dark gray and gold, from outside their headquarters in Sandyland sometime between 7.30pm and 8.10pm on Thursday (3).

The Facebook post said: "The incident has since been reported to the police and our staff are on the lookout for local sellers and any signs of the bike. We ask that if anyone has any information on the whereabouts of the bike to please let us know so that we can get it back to the cadet who is deeply missing their new bike.

"This type of incident is rare and has never happened before and procedures and analysis of how it happened has begun to put in prevention measures for the future."
