Fire crew put out large out of control bonfire in Chatteris

A large bonfire which got out of control had to be put out by fire crews on Wednesday evening.

The bonfire was in the open on Campole Drive in Chatteris, and fire crews from the town came to extinguish the fire at 10pm.

The crew used a rose reel to extinguish the fire and returned to their station by 10.55pm.

The cause of the fire was believed to be accidental.
