Wisbech student wins first Lions bursary

A student has received a bursary to help fund her studies.

Aukse Antanaviciute is the first student to receive a bursary from Wisbech Lions Club.

She studied Business at the College of West Anglia and managed to achieve the necessary qualifications, with a triple distinction, to gain a place in the Coventry University, London, to study Global Business Management.

Vice President Alan Edmunds presented the cheque to Aukse, which will help to fund her first year in university.

Mr Edmunds said: "Wisbech Lions Club members wish her well and look forward to her reports. Aukse sent her heartfelt thanks for the bursary award."
