Loads of fun at Fens Falconry open day in Wisbech




Birds, horses and archery were among the many attractions at the Fens Falconry open day.

The event, held at the Fens Falconry sanctuary in Wisbech attracted the crowds over the sizzling Bank Holiday weekend.

As well as demonstrations of some of the birds flying the day included Medieval horse riding by Northcote Heavy Horses, archery with Grey Goose Archery, children's games, quizzes and a host of craft stalls selling everything from home-made soap to honey and bespoke wooden home decor.

Organisers were delighted with the event's success posting on their Facebook page: "From every one at Fens Falconry staff and volunteers, we all want to say thank you for everyone that came to our open day today and supporting our small local business.Thank you to all of our stall holders - you were brilliant and we have had such a lovely day!"
