Man caught with drugs in Marshland St James was told to think about his drug use




A man from Outwell admitted to possessing a class B drug.

Andrew Grodkiewicz, 29, of Fendyke Road, appeared in Lynn's Magistrates court on Thursday after being caught with cannabis.

Prosecutor Qamar Iqbal said that Grodkiewicz was stopped by police on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 10 while he was in the back of someone else's car.

Police then reported a strong smell of cannabis and Grodkiewicz admitted to possessiing the 4.3g of cannabis for his personal use.

Grodkiewicz had been in court before for previous drug related offences.

Chair of the magistrates John Hare said: "You should have a think about your cannabis use."

Grodkiewicz was fined £150 with an added victim surcharge of £60 and legal costs £145

An order was made to destroy the cannabis.
