Man denies taking Volkswagen Golf and crashing into Fenland home
A Wisbech St Mary man is to stand trial accused of driving a car without consent and crashing it into two parked vehicles before ending up hitting a house.
Joseph Ingram, 21, denies aggravated vehicle taking in the incident which happened almost two years ago and which caused more than £83,393 worth of damage to the Murrow home of Bob and Joyce Taylor.
He made a first appearance in court on Thursday (October 7).
Magistrates in King’s Lynn heard that a Volkswagen Golf crashed into two stationary vehicles and then the two-storey home on November 17, 2021.
Ingram, of Seadyke Caravan Park, is accused of aggravated vehicle taking between November 15 and 17.
The King's Lynn bench declined jurisdiction on the case and it will next be heard at Norwich Crown Court on November 4.
Ingram was granted unconditional bail.
