Man charged with possessing a knife

A man will be appearing in court next month on charges of possessing a knife and assaulting an emergency worker.
Police were called to High Street, March, yesterday (Thursday, September 19), just after 2pm after receiving reports of a man with a knife.
Vincent Evans, 30, of East Drive, March, was arrested and later charged with possession of a knife in public, possession of an offensive weapon in public and assault by beating of an emergency worker.
He has been bailed to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on October 24.
