Man injured in A17 crash at Long Sutton

A pensioner suffered serious injuries in the crash which happened on the A17 at Long Sutton yesterday (Wednesday).

Emergency services were called to the A17 at 3.10pm after a Toyota and a Nissan were involved in a collision.

The Toyota driver, a man in his 70s, suffered serious injuries but these are not thought to be life threatening.

The road was closed between the Gedney and Cowpers Gate roundabouts for a number of hours.
