Man killed and arrest made following crash on Cambridgeshire village road

A man has died and another arrested following a collision on the A10 this afternoon (October 7).
The casualty was driving a blue Citroen Relay van that was in collision with a tipper lorry outside the Travellers Rest at Chittering at about 3.25pm.
A man who was a passenger in the van suffered serious injuries and is in a critical condition at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge.
A 58-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been taken to Parkside Police Station.
A red Ford Galaxy was also involved in the collision but no-one else was seriously injured.
