March Lions present volunteer award

March Lions have recognised a youngster’s determination to help the local community.

Leah Tyrell has been named the young volunteer of the year and was presented with £50 by Lion John Potter.

The award was set up through a legacy left by Mary Buckley. Lion President Ruth Martin said that it was amazing to see the young people striding to make the community a better place for everyone.
