March pair in court charged with burglaries
A man and woman have been charged with multiple offences including burglaries and theft of vans in Fenland and Peterborough.
Thomas Hutchinson, 45, and Teresa Gaskin, 50, were arrested in Dickens Street, Boongate, Peterborough on Monday (12) after being spotted by an off-duty police officer.
They have since been charged with three counts of dwelling burglary, four counts of non-dwelling burglary, four counts of theft of a motor vehicle and two counts of fraud by false representation:
Business burglary at Tradelink Direct Ltd in Marwick Road, March, including theft of a van – 7 August

Burglary in Bassonhalley Road, Whittlesey, including theft of a bag – 27 August
Burglary in Burystead, Stanground, Peterborough, where the occupant was subjected to violence – 28 August
Burglary in Thistle Drive, Stanground, Peterborough, including theft of a handbag – 6 September
Business burglary at Heatshield in Royce Road, Fengate, Peterborough, including theft of a van – 29 August
Business burglary at Custom Choice Windows in Prospect Place, Fengate, Peterborough, including theft of a van – 6 September
Theft of a motor vehicle from Heatshield in Royce Road, Fengate, Peterborough – 29 August
Theft of a motor vehicle from Custom Choice Windows in Prospect Place, Fengate, Peterborough – 6 September
Fraud by false representation by using a bank card belonging to another – 6 September
Fraud by false representation by using a bank card belonging to another – 10 September
Gaskin has also been charged with a further two counts of dwelling burglary:
Mellows Close, Boongate, Peterborough, including theft of a wallet – 7 September
Earl Spencer Court, Woodston, Peterborough, including theft of a wallet and bank cards – 10 September
The pair, both of Station Road, March, appeared at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Tuesday) and have been remanded in prison to appear at Cambridge Crown Court for trial on October 11.
