Codi Wedge from Build A Brand in Walton Highway receives Trainee of the Year award





A marketing apprentice was recognised for his hard work as he was crowned trainee of the year in a prestige awards ceremony.

Codi Wedge works for Build A Brand in Walton Highway and scooped up the award at this year’s Fenland Citizen Business Awards.

Codi has been training at the firm and expressed his delight at winning the award at the event, held at March Braza Club on Friday.

Codi said: “I am very grateful for this award, I never knew what I really wanted to do, my boss Gemma gave me the chance.

“I have learned so much during those years – now I am making a career out of it.

The award was sponsored by Iliffe Media, with Sharron Marriott of Iliffe Media Group Awards & Events handing Codi his award.

He was up against other trainee Andrew Mackie from CAB Fenland.
