From stolen vehicles to a drugs arrest, March Neighbourhood Policing Team has busy few days on patrol
Officers from the March Neighbourhood Policing Team have again been out and about conducting patrols around South Fenland.
Some of the incidents they were involved in this week include:
* Van driver in March stopped for using his mobile phone whilst driving. He was reported for the offence.
* Speed checks carried out along Wisbech Road and Wimblington Road, March and Doddington Road, Wimblington. A number of drivers were spoken to who were just over the limit but no tickets issued this time.
* A black BMW was stopped in suspicious circumstances around Whittlesey and Eastrea and the driver reported for no insurance.
* Following a vehicle being stolen in Peterborough, officers located the recovery truck used in taking the stolen vehicle in Whittlesey. Soon after the truck being located, officers found the suspect and they were arrested for theft of motor vehicle. The truck has been seized as used in crime.
* Officers in March, on witnessing a potential drug deal, chased down a male and stop searched him. He was found in possession of cannabis.
