New business has been set up in Wisbech to help struggling mums with clothing their babies
A new business has been set up to target mums who are struggling to dress their babies.
This new business ‘Mumma’s Munchkins’ has been set up by two mums who have become mums themselves and have realised the struggle of being on maternity pay and how much of an expense it is when your baby goes into the next size up.
Mumma’s Munchkins aims to be as affordable as they possibly can with their prices starting at 50p and this includes bundles.
Their most expensive items will be no more than £5.
This includes baby clothes boys and girls currently ranging up to 3 years, high chairs, prams and baby accessories.
They are currently buying clothes at £2 a kilogram and anyone is welcome to take their clothes.
With the business not being a charity, they will be washing, sterilising and ironing all of the clothes to ensure high standards.
Mumma’s Munchkins will be opening on Monday, 22nd May at 10am in Wisbech, walking distance from town. The address will be posted on their Facebook page ‘Mumma’s Munchkins’ a couple of days before.
The business hopes to see as many parents with their little ones on the opening day.
