New shared ownership homes are now selling at Skylark Development in Wisbech
A range of new shared ownership homes at a major development in Wisbech have been revealed.
Situated on Elm High Road, resting on the Norfolk-Cambridgeshire border, the Platform Home Ownership development comprises a collection of two and three-bedroom homes.
Shared ownership allows home seekers to purchase a share of their home and pay rent on the remaining amount, typically buying between 25% and 75% of the property’s full market value.
This lowers the amount needed for a deposit, with most deposits on shared ownership schemes between 5% and 10% of the share and not the full amount.
The platform has seen an increase in popularity in the shared ownership scheme. It has sold 55% more shared ownership homes between April 2021 and March 2022 compared to the previous year.
Donna Gadd, area sales manager at Platform, said: “We’re delighted to have released these wonderful homes here at the Skylark development, which are in a great location for many types of homeseeker.
“The homes are built to a high specification and I urge anybody looking for a new home in the Wisbech area to get in touch with our friendly sales team.”
Prices are being advertised from £73,500 for a shared ownership home.
