New term, new patrols for Fenland police as they catch drivers illegal parking

New term, old habits as parents and carers are caught parking illegally outside a Fenland school.

Yesterday (Monday) saw five drivers fined for illegal parking.

Officers on patrol at Westwood School, in March issued five Fixed Penalty tickets to the thoughtless drivers.

Posting on their Facebook page Fenland police said: "Your local primary and secondary schools will be visited on a rota basis. So if you should be someone who takes your children or grandchildren to/from school, please observe all parking restrictions."
