Stainless Metalcraft representatives Stephen and Jayne Buttriss, first year apprentice Joshua Hatcher and third year apprentice Christpher Budd, joined the unveiling. Christopher was also involved in designing the sign.

There was a good turnout of spectators as the sign was unveiled by Ruth Hufton, chairman of the parish council and the sign was handed over to the parish council.
Sue Marchant, radio presenter for Radio Cambridgeshire, attended the unveiling and the event was broadcast on her afternoon programme called “Runaround Sue”.

Members, guests and councillors then attended a celebratory lunch.
