Night of cabaret and burlesque to aid Brain Tumour Charity
From the people that brought Charity Cabaret to Cambridgeshire in 2018, 2019 and 2020 comes the long awaited return of Phoxy Qurvy Productions.
The group run by professional burlesque performer, teacher, host and producer, Phoxy Qurvy from Doddington is bringing School’s In For Stunners! An awesome three-act burlesque and cabaret extravaganza production to the village next month.
The event will be in aid of The Brain Tumour Charity and is in memory of a student’s mum who died of a brain tumour.
It will be Phoxy Qurvy’s sixth charity show and her first since the Covid-19 pandemic struck in March last year.
The show, on Saturday September 11 will feature a line-up of award-winning cabaret and burlesque stars from across the country.
They include: Ellie Von Est, Adora Belle, The Naughty Nannies, Phoenix Belle, Ruby D’Woo, Enigma Variations and Lou Safire will all perform on the night.
Phoxy said: “I usually run three events a year but this is the first back since the restrictions have been eased.
“It would be great to showcase the diversity of entertainment available in Cambridgeshire and reach a broader audience.”
There will be a charity raffle on the night, a fully licensed (cash only) bar and cabaret style seating.
