NSPCC relaunches its Pants campaign to protect Cambridgeshire children from sexual abuse

Cambridgeshire Police recorded more than 70 sexual offences against young children last year, according to research by the NSPCC.

A Freedom of Information request to police forces shows that in 2018/19 there were at least 7,618 recorded sexual offences against children aged four to eight across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Cambridgeshire Police recorded 78 of those and the figures come as the NSPCC relaunches an important safety campaign to help keep children safe from abuse.
