LEARN MOREEmneth Nursery School took part in International Mud Day for a second year.
The creators of the special day wanted to find a way to help all children feel closer to each other…and what a better way to do it than through the Earth itself?
Youngsters enjoyed everything from mud slides, to making mud pies, from digging to mud throwing.
The children were all very excited to get involved and the expressions on their faces were priceless.
Head teacher Claire Hooker said: “As a nursery we feel that it is important that children have lots of opportunities to get messy but this takes it to another level.
“Everyone was covered head to toe in mud by the end of the session but it was well worth it, even though it did take alot of tidying up afterwards.
“This is definitely something that we will get involved with in future years.”
