Two people released on bail after drug warrant was issued on property on Furrowfields Road in Chatteris

Two people were arrested after police responded to reports of drug dealing.

On Wednesday morning, March Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out a warrant on Furrowfields Road in Chatteris.

Both suspected class A and class B drugs were seized from a house, as well as cash, designer goods, and electronic devices.

A woman in her 30s was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug and has been bailed until August.

A 26-year-old man was also arrested and has since been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, ketamine and cannabis, as well as possession of criminal property.

He appeared in court on Thursday, where he was bailed until a hearing next month.
