The sixth defibrillator in the Wisbech St Mary parish has been installed at a popular pub.

Chairman of Wisbech St Mary Parish Council Coun David Wheeler handed over the life-saving piece of equipment to landlady of The Chequers Public House, Louise Davies, on Friday (July 2).

The installation at the Tholomas Drove business was made possible by the generous funding of £1,750 from nearby Wryde Croft Wind Farm at Thorney via The Cambridgeshire Community Foundation.
