Cars parked outside West Walton Primary School delayed ambulance

Regarding your story about parking outside the primary school in West Walton (Fenland Citizen, January 15 edition).
I had an appointment at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, in King’s Lynn, at 9.30am one day during school term.
The ambulance could not get past the school because of the parked cars.
Consequently, I was half-an-hour late for my hospital appointment. Thank goodness that it was not an emergency.
Two weeks after that I was coming home from hospital in an ambulance when it was flagged down on School Road, West Walton.
When the ambulance driver got out a lady, about 50, said it was a joke.
How stupid can some people be?
