Peterborough man killed in A47 collision yesterday is named

The man who died in the two vehicle collision on the A47 near Guyhirn yesterday, Monday July 20, has been named as Martin Burlingham from Peterborough.

Mr Burlingham, 34, of Salix Road, Hampton Hargate, was driving a white Ford Fiesta van that was in collision with a lorry at about 6.10am.

It happened about one mile from the roundabout at Rings End.

The driver of the lorry, a 50-year-old man from Lancashire, was not injured.

Police are investigating and appealing for anyone who saw the collision or either vehicle involved just prior to contact them.
