Police appeal for information after tree set alight in Whittlesey

Police are investigating after a tree was deliberately set alight on Friday evening.

A fire crew from Whittlesey was called to the on Stonald Road in the town at 8.33pm on Friday.

Firefighters used a hose reel and small gear to extinguish a fire involving a tree and were at the scene until around 10pm.

The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.
