Police appeal for witnesses following fatal crash on A47 at Walsoken




A man in his fifties has died following a three vehicle crash on the A47 on the outskirts of Wisbech.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the fatal crash which happened near the Shell garage at Wheatley bank, Walsoken, at around 7.30pm last night (Sunday).

Officers were called to reports of a collision between a red Jaguar, a lorry and a blue Toyota.

The driver of the Jaguar, a man aged in his 50s, sadly died at the scene. No one else was injured in the collision.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash, has dash cam footage, or may have seen the manner of driving of any of the vehicles prior to the incident, should contact Andy Hughes in the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Norfolk Police on 101 quoting CAD reference 359 of Sunday November 3.
