36-year-old arrested after reports of man threatening people with a knife in Long Sutton




A man who allegedly made threats with a knife in a town centre has been arrested.

Police were called to High Street in Long Sutton at 9.15pm last night following reports that a man was threatening people with a weapon.

A 36-year-old was arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of a bladed article.

Eye-witnesses say that the Market Place was shut while officers dealt with the incident.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police confirmed that “There were no reported injuries”.
