Police call for review of premises licences for three Wisbech businesses
Cambridgeshire Police have made applications for three premises in Wisbech to be reviewed.
The application made under Section 51 of the Licensing Act 2003 has been made for: Dukes Steakhouse, 8 church Terrace; Hare and Hounds pub, North Brink, and the Italian Affair in New Inn Yard.
Notice of the application on Fenland District Council’s website explains it is being made on the grounds of prevention of crime and disorder and public safety.
The exact details of the police’s concerns over the premises have not yet been revealed, but will become public if the licensing authority decides to hold a review and it goes to committee.

Representations to this review must reach the Licensing Authority by Tuesday, March 18.
Anyone making a representation should be aware that it is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
