Norfolk police, fire and ambulance services help Ford van driver after collision left vehicle in river in Outwell
Police, fire crews and an ambulance were called after a van ended up in a village river.
Officers from Norfolk Police received reports of a Ford Transit being partially submerged in water from a member of the public at 8.57pm last night (Tuesday).
The vehicle had entered the point where the River Nene meets Well Creek, off Church Drove and Well Creek Road in Outwell, after a collision.
It was recovered by 10.04pm, with a fire crew from the village attending to make the scene safe. Its stop message was received at 9.12pm.
The East of England Ambulance Service was called at 8.01pm, with an ambulance, ambulance officer and rapid response vehicle all attending.
They assessed the person involved in the collision, who did not require transportation to hospital.
