Police officers to hold more bike marking events to deter thieves after successful session at March Market Place

At the weekend, police officers spent some time in March offering bike marking..

Officers are looking to put on more of the free events in the future after a successful session on the Market Place in the town with 21 bikes marked.

They said getting your bike marked is free and is a visible deterrent to thieves and also helps officers reunite the bike with its owner if it’s ever stolen and recovered.
