Police issue 12 tickets to cars parked obstructively or illegally in Wisbech

Police in Wisbech issued 12 tickets to cars parked obstructively or illegally in the town on Friday.

Between responding to calls for service, officers were walking the beat, including St Peters Gardens, Church Terrace, The Crescent and the town centre.

A spokesman said: “There are free car parks available. When driving into town please utilise these and walk further to your destination rather than having to return to a fine from us.

“Parking in Wisbech town centre has been identified as a big concern by the community and is something we will be working hard to combat over the coming months.”
