Police launch appeal after derelict house in Tydd St Giles set on fire




A derelict house fire thought to have been started deliberately has prompted police to appeal for information.

The blaze took place on Saturday evening at the site of a derelict house on Church Lane in Tydd St Giles.

The incident took place at 7.56pm, and crews from Wisbech and Long Sutton were called to the scene.

Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and returned to their stations by 9.40pm.

The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate. Anyone with information should contact the police online or by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
