Calves redirected off A47 close to South Brink near Wisbech

A group of calves which were found taking a stroll along the A47 have since been redirected.

Police were called to the A47 South Brink near Wisbech this morning where they located 10 calves on the verge of the main road.

Response officers created a temporary fence to direct cattle in the “udder” way.

A farmer was expected to return them to their nearby field today.
