Police officer injured in March while arresting man with axe

A police officer has been injured in March today while arresting a man in possession of an axe and knife.

Cambridgeshire police are running a week-long knife amnesty in a bid to reduce knife crime numbers.

The officer suffered a minor hand injury but did not require hospital treatment.

The man remains in custody
