Police search for eight-year-old boy

Police are asking for information after a boy aged approximately eight years old was seen walking along the grass verge of March Road in Turves.

He was seen at about 5pm last night, Saturday December 19. Police have completed a search of the area as well as door to door enquiries but have not been able to identify the boy.

Nor have police had any reports from concerned parents/guardians of their young child/children being missing.

Officers have now stopped all proactive searches in the area. If anyone has any information that would reassure police the young man seen walking is now home safe and well please call 101 and quote CC-19122015-0403.

The description is of a white male, about eight years of age, black and white striped T-shirt. The T-shirt could be green and white.
