Police seized car in Chatteris after motorist without insurance or licence was driving with no lights

Police discovered that a motorist who was driving with no lights on also did not hold a full licence or the correct insurance.

Officers were alerted to a car driving in Chatteris without lights on Saturday evening and it was stopped on Bridge Street.

Further checks revealed that not only did the driver hold just a provisional licence, but that they also didn’t have any insurance.

Police seized the Volkswagen Polo and the driver was reported.
