Poppy appeal in full swing for Wisbech as Royal British Legion officially opens its remembrance shop in Horsefair Shopping Centre

The launch of the town's poppy appeal is underway as a new shop officially opens.

Friday was the official opening of the new Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal shop in the Horsefair in Wisbech and the launch of the 2024 appeal in town.

This vacant former Bet Fred shop was made available through the generosity of the management of the Horsefair Shopping Centre.

The shop is located directly opposite Hughes Electrical and will remain open for the sale of poppies for the rest of the Remembrance period.

This is another avenue for members of the public, businesses and other organisations, to purchase their poppies.
