Wisbech reader's praise for QEH and the whole NHS

Early in December I was recalled for further tests at the QE Hospital in Lynn after my routine mammogram showed there may be a problem.

Over the next 12 days (yes, just 12 days) I was given more tests, diagnosed with breast cancer, and operated on!

I’d like to thank Rachael Johnson and the whole team at the Breast Cancer Care Unit and Leverington Ward for their exemplary and professional care. They run the whole unit with care, compassion and humour.

I am recovering just fine at home after their rather brilliant treatment. Thought readers would like a positive take on our wonderful NHS.
