Rehearsals for Royal Jubilee flypast will be partly over Fenland skies
Local people maybe able to enjoy a sneak peek of the flypast due to take place to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
A large formation of military aircraft will form the flypast, which will fly over Buckingham Palace in London on June 2.
However, ahead of the big day pilots and their aircraft will be in the skies rehearsing for the flypast.
Rehearsals are due to take place on May 24, 26 and 27 and will start in the vicinity of The Wash, The North Sea, Southwold in Suffolk and Southend.
They will then fly over RAF Marham and RAF Cranwell - which will substitute for Buckingham Palace - before dispersing over North Lincolnshire and part of Yorkshire.
It is not clear what planes will be taking part but the formation areas C and D shown in the image cover parts of Fenland so people should be able see some of the action at the times given below.
Due to the large number of aircraft involved, the Secretary of State for Transport has decided that it is necessary to introduce Restriction of Flying Regulations under Article 239 of the Air Navigation Order 2016.
