Richard Barnwell to host talk in Wisbech tomorrow

A well-known Wisbech dignitary will be giving a talk on his life in the town at an event tomorrow evening (Wednesday, February 17).
Wisbech Society vice-president Richard Barnwell will be hosting ‘My Life in Wisbech over 40 Years’ at the Octavia Hill Birthplace House, 7 South Brink, Wisbech, from 7pm.
Mr Barnwell is a former county council and deputy lord lieutenant, and served as the High Sheriff of Cambridgeshire from 2011 to 2012. He owns Clifford Cross Auctions and is currently a charity trustee for 14 organisations.
Entry to the event is £2 on the door and everyone is welcome.
