Wisbech-area number plate thefts on the rise

Officers from the Fenland Neighbourhood Policing Team say there has recently been a rise in thefts of number plates from vehicles.

Aside from the obvious inconvenience, costs and damage caused, police say these thefts also cause stress, worry and concern to victims.

Number plates can be stolen for a number of different reasons and if you have been a victim, report via 101 or by using the online reporting system.
