Road closed after serious accident in Wisbech

Emergency services are still at the scene of a serious accident in Wisbech this evening.

The accident happened near the Princes distribution centre at the junction of Burrett Road.

The road is closed both ways, from the roundabout after the A47 to Burrett Road.

Diversions are in place and drivers are encouraged to find alternative routes.

The crash happened at 3.35pm and involved a lorry and two other vehicles.

The closure is affecting traffic between the A47 and the centre of Wisbech but surrounding traffic is said to be coping well.
