A1101 Main Road in Three Holes shut and 48 homes without electricity while UK Power Network repairs low-hanging cable




A road is currently shut while services deal with a power cable hanging across it.

Police were called at 1.15pm to assist the fire service with help to control the traffic on A1101 Main Road, towards the junction with Silt Road in Three Holes, after reports of the cable hanging low.

UK Power Network is currently dealing with the situation. A spokesperson said: “We isolated supplies to 48 customers in the Lots Bridge area of Upwell while we work on the repairs.

“Engineers are working as quickly and safely as possible to restore power. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”

The road remains closed while repairs are taking place.
