Roads closed as woman taken to hospital following fire in March

A woman was taken to hospital tonight after a fire at her home in March.

Fire crews and police were still on scene at midnight after being called to tackle the blaze at a property in Nene Parade at 9.20pm.

Wigstone’s Road was closed off, along with the top of Nene Parade and Wigstone’s Footbridge.

It is thought the woman has been taken by ambulance to Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Huntingdon, suffering from burns.
