Wisbech date for Six Keys Roadshow

The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority's Six Keys Roadshow will be in Wisbech on Thursday, September 29.

It is one of six districts across the region hosting the roadshow in the next few weeks speaking to communities about the work the authority is doing towards #UnlockingYourFuture.

The public will get the chance to speak with the Mayor, Dr Nik Johnson and to meet key members of the teams, including representatives running projects on transport, skills, climate change and active travel.

They will be on hand to speak about the projects that will make positive changes to the way people live, work and travel.

The six keys are the fundamental principles that the authority is committed to, and that it believes are essential to levelling up communities and enabling good growth ambitions:

Climate and Nature: restore the region’s natural capital and address the impacts of climate change

Health and Skills: build the health and skills to ensure that people are healthy and able to pursue the jobs and lives they want

Innovation: build on the reputation for new thinking, new technology and new ideas

Reducing Inequalities: close the regional gaps in life expectancy and people’s income by investing in our communities

Infrastructure: build public transport networks, improve digital connectivity and deliver energy and water system infrastructure

Finance and Systems: ensure that the way money is spent and decisions taken are cost effective and transparent.

The Roadshow will be at Wisbech and fenland Museum from noon to 3pm.

These are drop-in sessions, so visitors can arrive at a time to suit.
