Police appeal after Sutton Bridge robbery




Police have issued an appeal for witnesses who may have seen a robbery in Sutton Bridge last week.

Officers say that City Stores in Bridge Road was targeted between 8.20pm and 8.50pm on Thursday night.

They say a man was threatened but not injured - and the offender left with cash and cigarettes.

A spokesman said: "We have now launched an investigation and would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen anyone suspicious around the time of the incident.

"We would also like to hear from anyone with dash cam or CCTV footage."
